I got this for free at the old bell telephone factory. John May helped me cart it home on top of my impala, all the while it was catching air and trying to fly off. Its nuts, but I've got a special place in my heart for it.

both. we like it because it's not shaped all wrong for the wearer. we like it because of the fake fur. we like the pattern. we like the fact that anyone who would even pick it up and put it on has the ability to not take herself seriously 100% of the time. we like it because it's march and 60 degrees outside and it looks warm as fuck.

It's kind of funny badass, and I can appreciate the not taking yourself seriously that it takes to wear a coat that looks like an old sofa and a cat had a love child, but I don't get worn out dirty lookin fake fur. I guess that's the price you have to pay for vintage cachet.

I just searched through all these old posts to find the frumpy coat and those people happen to be retarded because this coat looks fabulous on you.
It looks a bit frumpy in the first picture because you were trying it on with flat sandals and bare legs, but almost any longish coat would in that situation.

Two drives came in today that I didn't remember ordering on Monday. I had to go ask, "shifty, did I order these for you?" My brain can only hold so much of the mundane details. And since I'm hourly, I have enough hours that if I come in on Friday I'll be volunteering my time. Bleh.
