update. spoke with a local copper yesterday.. he was waiting on me to pull into my drive way. apparently the man i saw hobble off when i walked outside onto my front porch could have been the killer.

i walked outside onto my porch almost right after i heard the shots, and eavesdropped on the commotion outside. i heard the people screaming and all the horrific sounds coming from down the block where the murder took place. i stood out there and cursed the hood for a second, then looked across the street. there was a fellow limping around hollering "i'm hit, i've gotta get outta here" type shit, and limping. i thought homeboy was hit. apparently from what people have reported, he was holstering a rifle in his pants leg, and was more than likely the killer. fucked up, no blood was seen over why where he was hobbling around, and the people on that side of the street say they saw him with a rifle. the neighborhood is fucked up, and people out there know who killed this guy more than likely.
the next night i heard the sound of 3 or 4 gunshots popping off in the distance.
